Music is my inspiration, my escape and my longest standing creative pursuit. These designs are a way for me to combine original photography and design in an medium that I am familiar with. I tried to capture some of the defining aspects of the blue note period, primarily the typography and the integration of the photography with the asthetic concept.

Design & Community Together - Our graduating class from Eletronic Media Design was given the opportunity to build a website that would provide an online forum for discussion and critique of art. I was elected the Technical Lead for this project and along with Haig Armen, coordinated the build of the website
Conceptual and Political // 2010 Olympics
In order to calm myself down after an hour long rant about the social issues of the Vancouver Olympic bid, I turned my release to design. I find myself very political and occasionally controversial but this has yet to work its way into my design, this piece being one exception.
Print Promotion // Self Promotion
Concert Promotion Posters serve both as ongoing design projects and as a forum as self promotion for my musical endeavors. These posters feature original photography and were used to promote concerts of mine presented this last year.
CD Packaging Design // 3 Storys High
This was a CD Packaging Design Project completed for a local band, 3 Storys High. With the surname Story, they wanted to play up the architecture reference with the design and layout. The design is clean and simple and focuses on the important element; the music inside.

Video Editing and Story Production // Metric - Torture Me
This music video is portrayed using strong visuals that show the main character in a cycle self inflicted pain that ultimately she tries to break to find love, but is unable to break free. This project was conceived, directed and shot by a team of 4 students and then edited down individually. I cut the video with a large focus on rhythm and lined major plot transitions with transitions in the musical form. Small additions of humour break up the plot line the interpretation of the ending is left up to the viewer.
Interactive Design // Airtime
The site is a databse driven site that dynamically loads news information aimed at business travelers. A home city is selected and then destination cities are selected as trips occur. Once both cities are selected, the site selects appropriate RSS News Feeds to display and stores this information in a user account so that return users may streamline their experience.
