Steve Mynett - Designer

I started music at the age of three and became enamored with the idea of creativity and communication and how they can exist together. I like to be challenged socially, intellectually or artistically. When left to my own devices I am most productive at night and although I love sleeping in, I hate to end my day because there is so much more to do. I like my art served medium rare with a side of function. I relax at the end of a long week of work with a beer at a jazz club. I see my audience get "it". I interpret and communicate what people feel but can not articulate. I tell bad jokes, and the occasional good one.

I can´t draw and I don´t doodle. My creativity extends well beyond a sketchbook filled with abstract drawings but instead exists in my thought process and extends itself through to a technical execution, be it print, digital, photographic or musical. I thrive on function and superfluous is not in my artistic vocabulary. I look for ways to challenge myself as being challenged drives me to grow professionally, artistically and personally. I like not knowing the answer because the next time - I will.
