Photography

During my life as musician I took up photography as a hobby so practicing shooting shows that my friends were playing seemed like a logical step. When a friend needed to show his designer what a Hammond B3 Organ looked like, I did some quick shots that ended up being the cover of the record.

Eight years later and I've shot over 300 shows and done the majority of the photography for the Cellar Live records. Along the way I've been nominated three times for Photographer of the Year at the (now defunct) National Jazz Awards.

I enjoy the rules and limitations that shooting in a low light jazz club with standing room only provide.
